Community Relations

CFAC is committed to working with and investing in the local community. CFAC has donated supplies, funds and/or other resources to the following organizations: City of Columbia Falls, Columbia Falls Fire Department, Columbia Falls High School, Flathead Community College, United Way and Whitefish Veterans’ Park.

Community Liaison Panel

CFAC believes it is vital that the public have access to information and a role in this decision-making process. The CFAC Community Liaison Panel (CLP) was organized in 2015 to engage with the local and regional community on a regular basis. The CLP’s purpose is to provide a forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas and opinions about the CFAC project. The CLP comprises community members, elected officials, project consultants, state and federal agencies, and CFAC. The CLP’s meetings are open to the public.
